"In the nine weeks that we have been opened, we have seen a diversity of people coming in to inquire about the space, or to sign up for lessons and or classes. We would love to see young people who never had an opportunity to learn about sewing, quilting, embroidery or other textile arts to come in and learn and create. Home economics and as well as industrial arts are programs that sadly have been cut out of school curriculums and we strongly feel that there is a need to keep these art forms alive.
 

We welcome everyone into our space to learn, create and possibly start a business of their own. The Shop at SewPough which is at the front of the building will allow our members to sell their products for a very nominal fee (10%)."

 

FREE ART ACTIVITIES during Open Studios: Sew Pough will have stations both outside and indoors for children and adults to participate with.
