Gallery Registration Fee: $75
This Application is for Galleries and Art Spaces who will be featuring a group exhibition during Poughkeepsie Open Studios. Individual Artists will need to fill out the Artist Registration Form.
Open Studios are meant to personalize connections with potential collectors and curators by providing a glimpse into the art making process. Galleries have the opportunity to feature the artists showing in their spaces in a temporary work environment.
Gallery Fee: This fee includes listings in the booklet (name, image, and contact information), website (name, image, 50 word statement, and contact information), social media and marketing of your exhibition. Individual Artists will not be listed in the Artists' Directory.
Sales Guidelines:
Sales transactions, pricing and gathering of sales tax over the course of the event will be the responsibilities of the participating Artists and Galleries. Artists are highly encouraged to participate both days.
Marketing:
Marketing and Outreach are so incredibly important for a community event such as Poughkeepsie Open Studios, and it's a joint effort to raise awareness from both organizers and artists. Participating Artists and Galleries will be provided marketing materials to share online and in person leading up the event, so please share as much as possible with your followers and audience to get the most foot traffic. We will provide some templates for Facebook and Instagram.
