Poughkeepsie Open Studios presents: a self-guided, all-inclusive art tour.

All are welcome to attend this free event!


Join artists & art spaces in the City of Poughkeepsie on a self-guided tour to visit with local artist studios & see regional artists in art spaces. Details & information will be updated on our website and social media leading up to the event.

ARTISTS & ARTS SPACES are welcome to register until June 1 with this this link. This is a great opportunity to share your artwork, connect with new audiences, and build collaborations! Artists of all modalities are welcome to participate. There is a limited amount of "pop-up" space accessible for artists to share their artwork outside of where they create - sign up early! Much appreciation to artists & art spaces for sharing their talents, time, and artwork with the community.

About:

Over one weekend each year since 2015, artists and arts spaces in Poughkeepsie, NY have coordinated to create "Poughkeepsie Open Studios." This annual free event brings together all ages of artists, curators, arts educators, performers, and art-appreciators. Attendees connect with participating artists, learn about their creative processes, inspirations & methodologies, and support their work. Artists of all disciplines are invited to participate! Locations across Poughkeepsie vary each year.

Poughkeepsie Open Studios takes place on occupied Munsee-Lenape Land.

Is there a fee to participate as an artist or art space?
Attending the event is free. The cost to participate as an artist and/or gallery is $25. This fee helps cover the costs of running the event (printing, marketing/promotion, event supplies, fees/permits, etc.) Click here for the artist registration link!

Is there a fee to attend?
No!

Is the artwork for sale?
Artist work is for sale (at the discretion of the artist) Poughkeepsie Open Studios does not charge a commission fee to participants if the artwork is sold.

What type of artwork will I see?
This event is inclusive of all art forms.

Where does Open Studios take place?
Locations vary each year. Follow our social media for announcements of participating artists and art spaces! A map will be uploaded prior to the event.
