ABOUT THE ARTIST:

"I grew up in Poughkeepsie as a child, and went to school in the area. I loved art ever since I was young, and I knew I wanted to make it my life's passion even then. As an adult, I became involved with the Poughkeepsie Arts Scene through The Barrett Art Center, eventually leading to becoming the Gallery Director of WomensWork.Art, as well as working as an artist in my own right.

I am a photographer with a body of work specializing in Taphophilia (Cemetery Photography), Urban Exploration and Landscapes. Since 2021, I started veering into resin casting as a medium, and create various objects with epoxy resin (including keychains, trays, coasters, and more)."

What identities of yours are important to you? How have they impacted your practice?

"As a Woman artist, it is important that I represent and inspire the next generation of marginalized artists to be uplifted and shown in a better light. As a Witch, my work has been heavily influenced by the esoteric and the occult."
